Our Romanian division, Neele Logistics srl in Oradea, specialises in groupage and FTL transport between Romania and West Europe. The division is strategically located to provide a highly professional service to the entire Balkan area.
Daily departures
Neele logistics operates daily departures with full and part-loads from West Europe to Romania, and we have a further three groupage departures from the Netherlands to Romania. Through our long-standing business contacts we have built up a reliable fleet in addition to our own trucks. Our fleet comprises the most modern vehicles to enable us to organise all kinds of transports for you perfectly. Climate-controlled goods, hazardous materials (ADR) or large volumes are no problem whatsoever for Neele Logistics.
Delivery times
Because of Romania’s large land area (237,500 km2), with major towns and cities distributed throughout the country, our delivery times will vary. To give you a good idea of journey times we have listed a number of important towns and cities below, based on normal transport (1 driver):
Bucharest: 3.5 days
Craiova: 4.5 days
Constanta: 4.5 days
Iasi: 3.5 days
Timisoara: 2.5 days
Baia Mare: 3 days
Oradea: 2.5 days
Express service
Naturally we can transport your goods by express service (2 drivers / trailer changeovers), shortening the time needed to reach each destination by one day. Normal transport must be booked 1 to 2 days before the loading date. For delivering urgent and/or climate-controlled and/or ADR goods, please let us know 3 days before the loading date.
Courier service
We also arrange transport by using our courier service. This is ideal for smaller, less heavy consignments that need to be delivered to your client fast.
Goods subject to excise duty
We also provide a high-quality transport service, both operationally and administratively, to Romania of goods subject to excise duty such as chocolate, cigarettes, coffee and alcoholic beverages.
Exceptional transport
To arrange exceptional transport, please contact us so that we can discuss your request and answer specific questions. With exceptional transport, for example, we must abide by the special laws and regulations that apply to each province.
Maximum weight
Just as in all other countries, a maximum gross weight of 40 tonnes applies, i.e. the truck plus the load. This means that we can transport a load of up to 20 tonnes maximum on each trailer.
Other East European countries
Besides Romania, we also provide an excellent service to countries such as Moldova, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia and Hungary. For a number of neighbouring countries that are not yet members of the EU, different customs formalities still apply, but this is no problem whatsoever for us. Our local staff specialise in handling the various goods subject to customs controls.
Goods from Romania
If you need goods to be transported from Romania to West Europe, then we have the perfect service for you. In addition to our international fleet we have a national fleet at our disposal every day, which we can use for smaller consignments. Our cross-dock activities are centralised in Oradea, from where we have numerous connections to various destinations in West Europe.
